I am trying to remove the heater element box (part #46) to make it easier to replace part #s 47 and 48. Approaching this from the front panel, this box acts like it wants to simply pull out of part #5 that is inside the back panel. It seems to be connected at only one point, but that point is not visible nor is the schematic clear on the "bulkhead Parts page.

Please advise.

This service manual (your console will be different but that does not matter) should show you how to get into it.

I take out the drum on these to replace the heating element.
