Great forum. I have the error code E0F2 on the display screen. I turned off the breaker for one hour, then powered it back up and hit cancel. This did not cure the problem. I had the control panel and control unit replaced three months ago while it was still under warranty. It's now two weeks out of warranty with the same problem. The unit crashed both times at the three hour mark of cooking. My problem is that I do not want to buy both parts ($450) without knowing what caused it to go in the first place. I'm very good with schematics and a DVM if I know what direction to go in. I appreciate all of your guidance. Thanks, Ivar.

Denman: Thanks for the reply. I might not have made it clear in my diagnosis that once the pad shows E0F2 it's over until the parts get replaced. So it's not a problem that appears after cooking for three hours and then goes away. What has me wondering is that it happens after three or so hours of cooking. I'm nervous about replacing the parts if it's going to happen again. A $450 test gets rather expensive after a couple of tries. Again thanks for your input.

Sounds like the control board is overheating and blowing a component.
I would check that the oven door is closing properly.
Also that the cooling fan is operating.
I thought I had seen a tech bulletin on this but for the life of me I cannot find it.
I am going to put this post into the tech section and try to get input from others. |
