Help....We have had a Whirlpool repairman out 3 times. He says this is a mystery. We have changed the water fill valve, the supply valve under the sink and the supply hose. We have tried vinegar, Glisten, Dishwasher Magic, Glass Plus, Rinse Aid.....We have changed our soap, water pressure and water temp. We have ran the dishwasher many times after a normal load to get the water clear, then after a normal cycle the dishes are extremely filmy and when we run an empty dishwasher after a regular load there is lots of soapy water that appears in the dishwasher. We have changed the amount of soap to 1 tbsp. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Open the door while the dishwasher is running and observe the lower spray arm and water level. The wash arm should be spraying a lot of water and the water level should be just below the heater. If water level ok, remove the spray arm housing and the half round pump cover. Remove and replace the chopper if clogged and the flat check valve in the housing near the chopper.
