I have a GE freezer, manufactured in 10-92. It has stopped freezing. I emptied it and unplugged it and waited a few weeks. I plugged it in and put a thermometer in it and after a few hours it showed 40 degrees.
Do you have suggestions of things I could do to troubleshoot?

Hi Stev,

Most likely the system is low on Freon or there is a restriction in the sealed system.

Gene.
