I set up for a full cycle and then I open the door to see how full the tub was. I find the water level of the tub is normal. I then check at the end of the cycle and I still have water still on the bottom just over the sump cap and about 1\4 up of the sump cover. The level of water did go down when the cycle finished but just not enough. PLEASE HELP I JUST HAD TO BUY A NEW WASHER AND DRYER AND HAVE NO MONEY FOR A NEW DISHWASHER.

Here are your parts Replacement parts for General Electric GSD4330Z02WW Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.comCheck that your drain tube is clear. A common place for it to clogg is at the fitting where it attaches to the house plumbing. A common problem is the Piston an Nut ( Item 564 in Section 2) This is under the filter at the back of the tub, the Piston and Nut unscrews. If this valve does not close/seal properly during the drain then some of the water is directed back into the tub instead of out the drain, Another area to check is in the sump but usually if there is a problem here you would see poor wash results. Remove the sump cover and check for debris in the sump or something wrapped around the chopper. Be careful as there is often broken glass in the sump. Also check that the wash/drain solenoid (attached to the left side of the pump assembly ) is being pulled all the way down during drain. It runs a flapper valve which directs water out to the drain. |
