When we tried to runn a load of clothes, the washer ran long enough to get the clothes slightly wet and then stopped. The display showed an error message of FL. Now if we try to run it, the washer just sits there for a few minutes and then displays the same error. Could it be the door latch? A couple of years ago, we had some parts replaced under the class action suit. I found the old door latch that was replaced and it reads EMZ with a Maytag part number on it-62722120 and an EMZ part number-38.0150. Is it possible that replacing the door latch assembly would fix it, or is it something else?
Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron,

Open the control panel and look for the tech sheet inside. It should have the explanation for the error codes and troubleshooting guide.

Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag Neptune washer Model MAH5500BWQ
