i had a power surge over the weekend and afterwoods,the dishwasher had a constant beep sound. i turned off the breaker(not gfci) in my pannel for 2 days. once i turned the breaker back on, i still had the constant beep sound. i replaced the module control assymbly today and still have the sound. i do not have any power to my buttons on top of the door. any help???????????????thx in advance

Double check the key pad connection to the control module.

Perform the Factory test to calibrate the new control module as required by GE after it was replaced. The instructions are attached to the reply.

If the keypad still does not work, replace it.

If it would keep beeping, replace the turbidity sensor (#321 on the diagram).

i cant do the test because the key pad does not work. i am guessing that the key pad was effected by the power surge. i ordered a new one and going to try that. i read on snother post here that the same thing happened to another guy and changed the module first and nothing happened. then replaced the key pad and fixed the problem.thank you for your help and any other suggestions.
