My Frigidaire GLRT185TDS6 is leaking water into the refrigerator compartment. Checked the drain tube from the bottom and does not appear clogged with good air flow. DEFROST pan is dry as a bone. Using the link below, The leak is coming from the box(17) at the point of the Diffuser, bottom air(13). This seems to be the lowest point of the box. I guess There is some deflector in this low point.

No temperature problems to tell of. So what's my next step to this problem please? Drop the box ? What the heck are a Diffuser and deflector?

Thank you for any insight.

Blank Sheet,

Yes, drop the box(control panel assembly).

When you get it down and out, you'll see the drain hole in the back wall,

Run a coat hanger or flexible device (1/4 " tubing works well) through the opening and down to the drain pan, you've probably got a clog in the drain tube.

Check the drain spout, on the back side of the control panel for cracks, breaks and proper seat to the drain openning in the wall.

The diffuser and box are in the control panel and you will see and understand how they work when you get in there, but the diffuser and box is used to evenly distribute and direct the cold air from the freezer compartment throughout the fresh food compartment.

Good Luck,
