My dishwasher isnt getting any dishes clean, and leaving grit behind. I checked the arms and they arent spinning during the cycle. Also, water is streaming out under the arms, from the gasket type part. Trying to decide whether to fix it or get a new one.

Does it get enough water? It suppose to be about 1/2" above the floor center piece (under the spray arm).
Does the pump run or it makes a humming noise?

The water is the same as it has always been, nothing has changed there. The sound is the same also. I ran it and was able to open the door and see what was going on. The arm doesnt rotate at all. Water doesnt come out of the arm, but under the piece the arm is attached to.

Most likely the problem is a lot of hard water deposits built up in the pump and spray arms. Basically this is a chemical and not a mechanical problem. Your dishwasher needs very good cleaning which takes a few weeks and will cost you about $50-60 for the cleaning stuff. It's probably not worth it.
