My maytag dryer was loaded with very water soaked clothes and now it does not turn on. There was a burning smell coming from the dryer now it does not turn on. I wanted to know what could be the problem and how much it would cost to repair just a general estimate.

The dryer has to be taken apart for proper diagnosis and we need the complete model number of the dryer for more accurate advises.
