My dryer works just fine however the timer doesn't. Everytime I use the dryer I have to make sure to turn it off otherwise it will continue to run and never stop. What's the problem and how do I fix it?

Most likely it is just the timer. A contact inside it is fried together and won't shut down at the end.

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE FDE336RES2 Frg(v1) / Free Standing Dryer | AppliancePartsPros.com

You may want to do more troubleshooting.
Does the timer advance?
Does it not shut off in both timed and auto modes?
Does it advance past the off position?
