Our dishwasher, Whirlpool gu980scgb1, is going nuts. When we barely close it iit starts working, then it gets locked on cycles and stays there forever until you open the door, which stops the cycle and sometimes progresses to the next cycle. It used to be that you had to slam the door to get it to work.
Control panel or control board or something else. Are there directions on how to replace these?
Thanks,
dlcpa

Thanks,
dlcpa DL, Sounds like a failed touchpad assembly or loose ribbon connection, Have you noticed moisture / condensation on the outer door or control panel ? I've attached the Service Manual and the Technical Data sheet, as you requested. Good Luck, :) :) :) Service manual (opens in a new window) Technical Data Sheet http://www.servicematters.com/d...0Sheet%20-%208066008.pdf
