Whenever it goes into the spin cycle is has a really high pitched noise until the cycle is over? What is this and how to fix please!

Hard to say because we really need to be there to hear where it is coming from and what kind of noise it is.

I would look at the Sticky at the top of the page by Richappy on Direct Drive Brakes, as they are your likely problem, but it can also be the coupling, bearing and maybe something else. You will just have to take it apart to try and troubleshoot it.
