We too have a cold freezer and not so cold frig. The refrigerator is set on 9 (the highest setting). We had the main water supply for the house cut off while a break was being repaired. When the water was turned back on we noticed that the refrigerator wasn't cooling properly. And the freezer has frost built up. I've been waiting for it to defrost itself, but nothing yet.

The frig is just two years old. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

While freezer is still cold, check defrost thermostat for continuity and also defrost heater. If either is bad, use hair dryer to defrost and replace failed item.
If both items ok, you probably have a bad motherboard in back of fridge. Replace it and also the evaporator thermistor.
