I recently had my freezer on my side by side repaired by a tech which said my heater went bad. They installed a dual element heater and got my refrigerator working again. Then I ordered a new auger dispenser tray from here and installed that since the previous one had broke. After that, the ice dispensing motor seemed to freeze up. I removed it, thawed it out, and reinstalled it. It worked for a little bit and then returned to the same problem. Do I replace the motor or is something else going on?

Make sure there is no water dripping into the motor from the ice maker water feeding tube. Make sure the gaskets (#164 & #165 on the diagram) are in place and there is no any other way for a warm air to come up during the defrost cycle.
