My ice maker suddenly quit. The arm on the JS2 ice maker is in the down position as it should be. I checked the water inlet tube, it appears to be clear. The fridge still dispenses water from the freezer door. The ice augger still works. It does not appear that it wants to pump water to the ice maker, meaning that I have not heard the water pump run. What should I look for? I've unplugged and removed the ice maker, is there something I can test across the 4 pin plug to determine where the problem may lie?

Put the ice maker back in the refrigerator and let him to cool down for a few hours. Gently pull the ice cubes ejector up until it'll start the harvest. At the end of the second revolution it should fill with water.

Post the results.

Here are the break down diagrams for the GE refrigerator Model CSX24DMA

Thanks Gene for the advice. I've reinstalled the ice maker but I can not get the ice ejector to budge, it seems like it's stuck. Its been in the freezer for about an hour or so. I'll go back and check it again in about another hour.

Dood! It works!! I tried pulling up on the ice ejector one more time and it finally "popped". Suddenly things started happening! I stood there and watched the ejector rotate and the water started filling the tray. Awesome! I have ice again! Thanks Gene!! One thing I did want to mention. I noticed that it spins clockwise, I pulled on it in a counter-clockwise motion. Is it possible to damage it by doing that? What exactly happened that could have caused it to obviously get jammed? Thanks again, I'm going to bookmark this site in case I have any more appliance problems.
