My dryer was making a weird chirping noise for a couple of weeks. Then it wouldn't respond to keypad at all. I ordered the control panel from your company. The panel I receved is part number: AP3882440 (33003028) I replaced the part and still I am getting no input. No button responds at all, period. My old control board has what looks like an overheated spot on the top right where the 4 little resisters are. The old control panel has the number: 63717810 on it, so I'm wondering if I received the correct part. OR Could the actual pad with the buttons be messed up too?
Thanks for any help you can offer.

Still waiting to find out if I should return this control board I ordered from you. Live Chat told me to ask in here, however it has been a while with no response.

I guess I just send this board back to you as I am assuming it is defective since no one has any other suggestions.... I had thought the customer support here was pretty good, that is why I ordered from your company. I can see I was mistaken.

Are you getting any indication that there is power to the dryer. IE lights anything?

Yes, the lights are on as normal, but nothing happens when you push any button.

Dumb question but has to be asked, did you make sure to connect the ribbon cable?

Yep, all cables are connected. I did them one at a time from old to new.

Also, this is what the problem was in the first place. So when I changed out the control board I expected it to start working. But nothing changed from old board to new board all is still the same.

It seams unlikely that the panel is bad, usually a panel will stop functioning a button or 2 but not the whole panel. I would take a closer look at the ribbon cable connection, and if all seems ok then your board you put in is probably bad. The only other thing I can suggest is to make sure you have proper voltage going to the board. Make sure you have 120v going into the board.

Yes, it's 120. Dryer worked fine for years, just started with that weird chirp noise, then one day, the buttons just stopped working. All indications were to replace the control board. The ribbon cant fit more perfect, so I'm going to assume the control board I received is defective. Unless the ribbon can go bad....
