:( There was a loud pop coming from the cooking top area. Now there is no power and the cooking top will not start. Please help!

Most likely there is an electric short somewhere in the cooktop and the circuit breaker tripped off. You have to have a simple multitester to perform troubleshooting. Also the model number you posted is incorrect. Verify and repost it, please.
