May Maytag Oven Model #MGR5720ADT

The ignitor is red, but will not ignite the flame for the oven. I have tried several temps, but it remains the same.

This is a common problem. The Igniter is the problem.... It is glowing but not bright enought... They go bad about every 5 years depending on use...

When glowing bright the 3.3 volts gets to the safety valve. When dull orange it is passing about 2.? volts not enough to open the safety valve.

Make sure to use the model number as the igniter's are the same but the plugs are different on many versions.

Good Luck
