I have a four year old KitchAid Kuds02srss1 dishwaher. The door springs (rope) broke and I have since replaced them (thanks Jake). They are working fine, but now my door is not latching- this started after the last hard door drop. I'm afraid something may be tweaked out of alignment. When I try to shut the door, the left side seats in nicely, but the right side seems to not want to shut- I think this is the reason the latch won't hold. When I pull off the inner seal, the door shuts just fine. It seems like the right side of the door, around the lower section is pushing to hard against the seal. When I inspected the seal, it was slightly cracked in the lower area, which makes me think its not aligned correctly.
Any thoughts? Should I just order a new latch and strike or am I overlooking something?

Bump to the top for help. Guess I'll order some parts and start there.

Don't order the latch and catch, you know those work, You need to look at the inner door liner and hinges. (especially after a hard bump/drop). Look at the sealing edge of the liner, down low near the hinges and see if there is a small buldge, dent, or bow in the door panel. You may be able to loosen the hinge mounting screws and" tweak " the door and hinges back in position for a proper alignment/seal. And you ought to consider replacing the door seal. :) :) :)
