my oven kept shuting off during baking. ordered a new control and installed it,and now the baking elements won't turn on. i put the old control back in and the baking elements turn on.what could be the problem?i just installed the new one today.:(both broilers work with new control and oven does'nt shut off.

When you replaced the ERC very first time did it match the old one or it was different? If it was different, did you follow the installation instructions which came with the new ERC? Did you replace the latch motor also?

gene It was not the same. I followed the directions and installed everything correct.the relays were different (connections). i did not install the latch motor because it was different.I called the company prior to installation,they said the other lock assmembly was no longer available and this one just comes with the new ERC. thanks lou
