My dishwasher keeps filling with water & flooding my floor. I have a Maytag dishwasher model MDB9100AWB manufactured in 2001. This problem does not happen every time, maybe (1) out of every (3) times operating the dishwasher. It seems to occur around half-way of the full cycle. Water keeps coming in & overflowing the tub when it should have stopped. Water ends up pouring all over the floor. I then press the stop button & then the drain button to drain out the water. During this time I can still hear water coming in. Even after the (2) minute drain process & the unit shuts off water keeps coming in. The only way to stop it is to shut-off the water supply to the dishwasher. I already made sure that the float moves up & down freely. I also replaced the water level control switch (OEM part#99002560). Any help would certainly be appreciated.

Sounds like your water valve is sticking open.
I would replace it.

Thank you for your quick reply, I'll replace the valve & see if that works.
