My gas dryer wasn't drying clothes (no heat)....replaced thermal fuse and it appeared to fix the problem. Then realized two hours later that dryer was still running...timer not rotating and consequently not shutting off the dryer. I figured the clothes that had been drying for two hours would be extremely hot...not the case...clothes were dry but no heat in drum was evident????

It is very possible, that you blew the thermal fuse again. Make sure the vent is clear to the out side. Turn the dryer on, and go outside, and you should have good air flow outside. If that is good, and the thermal fuse is good, then, check the ignitor, and see if it comes on. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
