My son has a whirlpool thin twin. The timer dial spins around and you cannot tell which cycle the washer is on. Before I purchase a timer dial and washer knob (if this is necessary), can I repair this? Also, I tried to pry off the knob but was unable to do so. How do I remove the dial and knob if I have to replace them.. Thank You...
