It' going to be your spark module or your ignitor switches, either way your gonna need to remove the cooktop to test further or call for service, let me know your decision

I'm having similar symptoms to Juan however I am not ignoring your spark module advice. On the Jenn-Air system is the igniter both a conductor of electrical energy and heat? Can it conduct one without conducting the other? If the igniter is clicking/sparking correctly is it safe to assume that it is also conducting heat to the module so that the module can stop sending the spark pulses? Does it use one conductor? I will likely order a module, but have read some threads of owners who have replaced modules and their frustration. I'd just like to understand what is going on before I start replacing parts. Can you give me a brief breakdown of the workings in my cooktop ignition system?

Basically when you turn a burner on, the switch sends a signal to the module to start the spark, when the burner is lit, a flame goes over the ignitor to change the resistance value to tell the module that the burner is lit, and it stops sparking. So if that flame does not hit the ignitor it wont stop sparking when the burner is lit.

If I understand you correctly, it sounds like the igniter itself acts like a thermal switch? I cleaned my igniter a second time with rubbing alcohol and so far it seems to be working.

Hey Guys....finally gave in and called in a tech. He changed the spark module and so far so good. Seemed like a very easy install, you just need to know which wire goes where. Good luck everybody and thank you abadfish66 for your sound advice. JA
