Last night I overloaded my Hotpoint washing machine with to many towels. Water all over the floor... Now if you turn the washing to spin you hear a humming sound like the motor is working just not spinning. You can also hear a clicking sound every once in a while. Thanks to an earlier question I was able to remove the front panel of the washer. The belt looks fine. What else should I look for or at? Please help.
Thanks Theresa

Look and see if one of the towels did not get caught somewhere, and check to see if the pulley will turn by hand.
