I have a LG model “LSC27926SW” refrigerator that is having problems with the icemaker. It is still under warrantee but I want to be able to talk intelligently with the service tech they will send out. We had a problem with the icemaker overfilling the water in the ice trays and leaving a frozen “waterfall” down the back of the freezer. I thought there would be some way to adjust the amount of water in the ice tray but was told that was not possible and they replaced the entire icemaker. Now the icemaker works but it produces even fewer ice cubes than before. Can anyone give me an idea on how much ice I could reasonably expect to be produced in an 8 hour period?

7 cubes every 90 minutes is average, of coarse frequent door openings can extend the time a bit
