My ice maker seems to be making ice but it does not dump it into the bin. I am wondering if this could be caused by a faulty ice maker control module or if it might be the motor module itself. Please help I want to order the part but want to make sure it is the right thing to order.
There is ice in the ice maker now but it has not dumped in three days.

If the ice maker fills up with water but does not eject the ice cubes, the problem can be a bad motor or a bad thermostat. The best (and most efficient) solution is to replace the whole ice maker. Any repairs will cost you more $$$.
