The water reservoir inside the refrigerator has 2 plastic tubes attached to it. One needs to be replaced. There is a plastic seal around the tube where it enters the reservoir. It looks like some sort of shrink wrap. What is the proper method to remove the tube and seal and replace the new tube?

Unless that tube has a plastic nut that can be unscrewed, you are going to need a whole new water reservoir. Luckily they don't cost too much Part number: AP2066390
The plastic they make these out of seems to be glue and epoxy resistant, so virtually nothing adheres to it.
