I do not think it is possible because GE does not provide any diagrams and/or schematics.

What is wrong with the refrigerator?

I was informed by a GE tech. that if you unplug the encoder, the fridg will cool to the factory settings like 15 degrees freezer 35 degrees fridg. If that works, you have a bad encoder though rare.
