I am having to push my side-by-side door in to get the water dispenser to work. Please help! Thanks:)

You should check the freezer door gasket(along the bottom) and also the interlock switch in the same area

If the door gasket is damaged or rolled over,or has debris in the switch area it could keep the switch from activating unless the pressure on the door is increased.

If there is nothing wrong with the gasket check the plunger switch for the same, you may try lubricating the switch plunger before replacement.

I just checked the bottom of the freezer door. The gasket looks serviceable, but the switch that gets depressed on the bottom feels loose or has slack in it. I glued a piece of one of those fiber pads you put on the bottom of furniture legs to the area where the switch gets depressed, and the water dispenser works fine!:D Thanks:)
