Last summer my Roper dryer stopped working. Luckily it was still under warranty. The repairman replaced the Thermostat Internal Bias(3387134). Worked fine until last Sunday and I started having the same problem, so I ordered a new part and had it put on but the dryer still won't turn. It will heat up and the timer still works. What could be wrong with it this time?

Maybe I'm having problems today, but I'm not sure what you're saying the dryer is not doing. Is the drum not turning or is it not heating? The part you describe is cycling thermostat, it has very little to do with the drum rotating. It sounds like you might have a broken belt. Also a model no. would be helpful.

It is heating but the drum will not turn. The timer also works. Whenever I
push the button to turn it on just the heating element comes on.
Model Number is RED4340SQ1
Serial Number is MW2678552
Thanks:)

Is the motor turning? If it is you need a belt. If it is not running, then you need a motor. part no. AP3094245. If it is the motor I would unplug the dryer until you get it fixed. Only a stuck start switch would allow a dryer to heat when the motor isn't turning.
