The automatic ignitor is not working. I can hear the click, click, click and smell gas, but nothing happens. Even when the one next to it is on, it still won't light. The only way it will light is if you bring the flame close to the burner with paper or match. Which part do I need?

Before you replace a part do these checks :

Check the spark igniter and burner assembly for debris or residue.

Check that there is a bright white spark from igniter to the burner, whenever any burner switch is in the on (clicking position).

A weak orange spark would indicate a malfunctioning spark module.

No spark at all would indicate a broken, loose, or shorted igniter wire or a malfunctioning spark module.
