The oven and Broiler stopped working on my gas range. The control panel shows everything on, but they will not heat. The cook top elements work fine. Any ideas on what to look for??:confused:

Give us some clues, remove oven bottom panel and see if the igniter glows, post results.

The igniters both work fine. The other day I ran the clean cycle just to see if it worked and it did. After the clean cycle finished and it cooled down, I tried the oven and broiler again and they both worked on several trys. The next day when I tried again, the oven burner would come on for a second and then turn off. It continued to act like this for a few minutes and then it came on full and stayed on. The next day when my wife tried to use the oven, it wouldn't come on at all again. The igniters always worked and still do. It seems like I have an intermittent problem.

I finally called a service repair man and he said that the ignitors were not working properly even though they lite up. They weren't getting hot enough to turn on the gas. I relaced both ignitors and everything works perfectly.:)
