I've had the repairman out several times and completely emptied the refrigerator & freezer and defrosted it for 24hours, but the problems still persist. The freezer goes to - 10 degrees & the refrigerator is about 43 degrees. There is no water in the ice maker, although a new ice maker was installed on his last visit. Somewhere I read to vacuum the coils, which I do on a regular basis and did again, but you can only get to the front row of coils so I don't know how to get to those that are toward the back . . . there are at least four rows of them. You can't get to them from the front as the front row blocks all the other rows, you can't get to them from the side as there is a side panel on the unit, you can't get to them from the back, so how are you suppose to thoroughly vacuum all the coils? I don't know if that's my problem or not and it doesn't seem logical that would have anything to do with no water going into the ice maker. Any suggestions. Thanks.

If you are cleaning the front row of coils thoroughly, that is all you really need to do.

How accurate are the temperature readings you supplied ?
Are you sure the doors are closed and the gaskets are sealing ?
When you open the freezer door can you feel the air from the vent(s) on the back wall blowing towards you ?
Did you have this problem before the technician replaced the ice maker ?
Is there water droplets, frost or ice on the back wall of the freezer compartment ?

With your controls set at mid-range on the dial(s), your refigerator temperature should be 38 degrees in the fresh food compartment and freezer temperature should be 0 (+/- 2 degrees).

I am wandering if the technician may have dislodged the end of your temperature control which should be in the air flow of the tunnel where the air comes into the refrigerator compartment or if you have a failed temperature control

Water droplets, frost or ice on the freezer back wall would indicate an air leak or a defrost problem causing improper air flow.

If there is no frost, ice or water on the wall and there is little or no air blowing towards you, I would suspect a defective evaporator fan.
