My wife said that before it quit, it seemed to be noisy and not agitating well. That may have been the initial primary issue that caused the lid switch to go. How do I tell if I have a belt problem, a motor problem, a spline problem or something else. Thanks for your help so far. :)

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/10/2007(UTC) Posts: 3		I found that only the top agitator doesn't work. The "Agitator Mover" also called the "Clothes Mover" seems to have worn spline teeth. I plan to replace that and all should be good. Thanks, John
