Hello - I have a GE Nautilus dishwasher that isn't draining right. I have checked the motor and it is working (visually see motor spinning) and water is being sprayed out into tub while on. The problem is with draining. An excessive amount of water is sitting in the bottom of the tub at the end of the wash cycle. When I physically hold down the armature/linkage with my finger the tub will drain completely. If I replace the solenoid will that fix the problem? Is it a timer problem? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for the help.

Do this, start the washer and let fill when it is done filling, turn the timer until you hear the solenoid engage, count how long it drains anything over about 24 seconds is going to be a slow drain and we can go from there. post results

I checked the drain time a couple times with a stop watch on my phone and it is in the 22-26 seconds range. Is that normal drain time? It seems to be draining completely now (no extra water in tub above grating). In the process of diagnosis I have taken apart most of the drain lines and cleaned grating etc. possibly it was clogged and that fixed the problem? If you have any other information please let me know. Thanks!
