I am trying to rule out problems with my hotpoint side by side and can't locate the defrost timer. Can anyone assist me. I have found the heater and the thermostat, but can't seem to find the timer on my diagram either.

There is no timer on this model, it is an electronic refrigerator. Here is the board for it, and is located at the back behind a cover...AP3950129

To fix a constant frost/defrost cycle, should I replace that board?
