Had a problem with the detergent cup not staying closed, so I ordered the part (tripping device) from applianceparts pros.
Shut the dishwasher off, removed the panel, unplugged the dispenser, and removed it to replace part. Plugged dispenser back in. Detergent cup now stays closed.
Replaced door panel; went to close door, and it will not latch.
For some reason latch is locked.
Tried on off switch, no lights on panel.http://forum.appliancepartspros...m/images/smilies/eek.gif
Tried a test cycle and dishwasher goes into drain mode. Still no lights.
Uh oh.
Help would be much appreciated.

Most likely you put the door latch in the "closed" position while you've been working with the door. Take the door apart and push the door latch in "open" position.
