My washer won't turn the cold water off when tub is full. It will continue the wash load completely, but the water will not stop running. Is it a valve? What's the valve called so I may fix it? :o

Open the control panel and locate the water inlet vale (#805 on the diagram). Locate the cold water solenoid by tracing the cold water fill hose and remove the wires from that solenoid.

If the cold water would not stop, replace the water inlet valve.

If the cold water would stop, replace the control board.

Thank you so much for responding! I have already gotten the part and repaired it. When I posted this, several of the same question popped up so I was able to deduce what the problem was. I really appreciate your response!!! :)

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it.
