:(There is no cool down at end of any cycle on my Maytag Dryer even Air Fluff runs warm. I have cleaned connections and machine, my venting is code+. The timer goes completely through cycle and shuts off fine. Everything works okay except the cool down cycle of each cycle does not exist. Continuity through thermostats appear okay.

Remove both wires from the heating element and check for continuity between each of the heater terminals and the ground.

If the reading is other than ∞, replace the heater.
