Hello a few days ago I used the self cleaning feature on the top oven of my Thermador SCD302T. The oven is totally cold and the pannel still reads "lock" and the door will not open. I have tried to turn power off at the breaker in hopes that would reset the unit but that did not work. Any other ideas as to what to do?

I assume I have to replace the entire lock mechanism, but I am unable to slide out the oven from the cabinet because I do not have access to the cabinet anchor screws hidden by the locked door.

Any comments would be greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I managed to open the door by using a thin screw driver to pry back the latch. I assume that I can fix the issue by replacing the lock mechanism AP-2838101. Is there anything else that might be the cause of the lock not opening after the cleaning cycle?

Although I did manage to open the door, the pannel still reads "lock". Any help would be welcomed. Thanks

It's possible that the main relay board was not sending power to the lock. If you slide the oven out far enough to remove the upper access cover, you can access the relay boards. The relay board on the left has a terminal labeled "DRLK". The wire on this terminal goes to the motor. If you jump 120vac to this wire, you'll be able to see if the motor turns. If so, the problem is in the relay board. If not, the problem is in the latch.
