I have a GE oven that is malfunctioning-I have checked all of the connentions in back to the control board and to the elements. What is happening is I turn the dial to set the temperature on the oven but it will not come on. When I set it to Self-Clean it operates and cycles just as it should. I have recently replaced the bottom element with a new one. The control board-there is no dimming of the display-just the oven will not operate. The numbers do not come up on the display when I turn it to a temp-only when the self-clean mode is on. All four burners on the stove top are operating fine. Any suggestions?

Your model number comes up as a JennAire cook-top.

It does sound like the ovens control board is shot.
