Trying to get some help with troubleshooting my washer. When I try to run it doesn’t stop when the cycle ends it just keeps continuously running. I replaced a timer on it, but it did not solve a problem. Also I noticed that water doesn’t drain while it runs a cycle and the only way to drain is to lay draining tube on the floor. I’m thinking maybe there is a problem with a pump and it causing washer to continuously run. Thanks for any help.

This is an electric pump, so try replacing it and see what happens. Before you do that, however, check to make sure there is no obstruction in the pump or line, and that the pump is getting current when it is supposed to be running.

Here is the part
