One closest to the fan has 2 yellow wires, one to the right of that closet to the lock motor has 2 black wires. (check that, this one has one gray and then one wire with 2 blacks coming off it).

take the grey and black wires off the thermal switch, put the ends together so they touch, and tape together, restore power close oven door and see if the lock motor returns to the home position, and the lock light goes out on display

We know it's not those tco's, the door switch, does the light go on and off when you press it in and let it go

at this point, I suspect the lock motor has failed. Or possibly one of the switches on the motor bracket.

From the link you provided, should I try and get a new lock motor and install it.

Thanks, dearsmiths

On the lock motor, when I turn the electricity back on, there is something in the middle that seems to want to go around but a black arm is stopping it. Should I replace this?

Thanks again for all your help. dearsmiths
