Question?I got my dryer running and i have 1 extra wire. it comes on and heats,it also stops, but i only get 123.9 volts on 240 vac timer.I'me just not sure about the black wire that runs down toward the motor same as the red the only place it could go is on the same leg as the red wire for a total of 240 volts the red connecter has to ears on it .any help would be great.thanks

Here is your wiring diagram. http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Webster/131850600.pdfHard to say where it goes without actually being there. Looks like a red and black join up at the timer motor resistor but I cannot be sure. Your timer is actually 120 volts. In auto modes it gets power through the heating element when the thermostat shuts the heater off. This is 240 volts and the 4.4 Kohm resistor drops it to 120 volts for the timer motor. |
