My Maytag dishwasher sounds like it is grinding itself a new ***hole when it is running. Also it doesn't seem to be rinsing well as there is a film on the glasses and what looks like soap residue on the silverware.
Any thoughts?

Film is hardwater build up.Use 1 cup of Lime-A-Way in light wash cycle.Noise is something caught in pump near grinder.

Your model number is short a few digits.
I used MDB7600AWB it should be close to yours.
