Freezer keeps cold for about 5 days and then stops cooling. I removed rear freezer cover and discovered that freezer keeps ice buildup on the bottom third of the freezer coil. It appears to me that is not defrosting. I checked defrost heater and it is OK. Do I need to replace the motherboard in the back or just try to jump pins J11 and J8 first as indicated in one of the forum responses for similar problems. Also would this be related to defrost thermostat and/or freezer thermistor and if so where are they located in this model. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
jtmsk
