i have recently replaced the element in my dishwasher thinking it will fix the problem of not heating the water or drying... but alas, it has had no effect. i would appreciate some ideas for what i should consider replacing next... other than the dishwasher itself. By the way, it is a Matsui MS2W/A. Many thanks.

Looks like this is a UK unit and I cannot find any info on it.
On most US units there is an overheat (hi-limit) thermostat wired in series with the heating element. If your unit has one perhaps it is shot (open).
Check under the unit and on the back of the kick plate for a wiring diagram without it the unit will be difficult to troubleshoot. |
