Admiral Gas Dryer (ADG7005AWW) heats once and then will not heat again. It will heat up to ~250 degrees (coming out the vent) and then turns heat off.

Just happened all of a sudden, so I don't have any inclination of what might have caused this. (except part failure)

The dryer will heat up very hot, and then not heat again. If I wait for a while (few hours) then the dryer will heat again. I am assuming there is some time limit once the hi-limit is tripped?

Anyway....any ideas? From searching this forum (great info here!), I've got some ideas. Cycling thermostat? Hi-limit thermostat? However, I don't want to just throw parts at it.

I'm headed back upstairs to test them.

Earlier today, I tested the hi-limit thermometer, cycle thermometer and thermal fuse. All appear to be in good shape (according to my multimeter).

The ignitor doesn't seem to be the problem, as I can see it glowing when I have the front panel off. Perhaps it is the coils that are faulty? Is it possible for them to work at first, but then fail after the first flame-up?
